Mounting & Framing

As FACE Fine Arts provide a bespoke, in-house framing service, the choice is yours as to how you would like your artwork to be presented. 

There is a choice of available mouldings (3 choices available as standard – flat black, flat dark brown and flat polished/scratched silver) that will suit most interiors.  Also, if you want something extra special, that can be catered for too by e-mailing us with your request, as we can further individualise your chosen artwork with one of many extra special moulding choices, such as solid wood eg oak, ash, etc., gilt in either gold, bronze or silver, coloured, patterned/ornate, ‘floating’ frame (which is suitable for framing canvasses which are mounted onto stretcher bar), the choice is endless, the choice is yours!!

Framed artwork will come single mounted as standard – mount colours will be chosen to compliment your chosen artwork, however, if you wish to choose the colour of your mount to co-ordinate with your décor, please drop us a line and we will endeavour to accommodate your request.  You can also request to have your artwork double mounted or by using specialist mounting cards such as: pearlised/patterned (suitable for weddings and christenings); fabric mounted card; ‘black core’ mount card; etc. for an additional charge.

All our frames are made by our specialist framers to a high standard and are fitted with 2mm float glass, along with an acid free, ph neutral backing ‘sandwich’ board to protect the artwork, acid free/archival quality tapes and 2mm MDF backing board as standard.  You are also at liberty to request specialist glass finishes such as: extra thick glass; diffused glass; laminated safety glass; anti-reflective glass; museum/UV block (90%); ‘plastic’ glass, at an extra cost.  Just e-mail us for details.
